She rounds out her program with variations of her favorite hymns. Robinson has a Bachelor and Master Degree in music performance (flute) from the Universities of Georgia and West Georgia. Between degrees, she studied at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, England. Robinson has taught and performed throughout the southeastern United States, as well as taught master classes and performed concerts as far away as Regina, Saskatchewan in Canada. She has studied flute performance with flute masters such as Trevor Wye, Clare Southworth, Geoffrey Gilbert, William Bennett and Stephen Preston. Currently, Janice is the 2nd flute with the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, a freelance musician, as well as a volunteer with music students. All Harmony for Healing performances are held in the John H. Burson III, MD, Atrium on the first floor of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, facing Dixie Street, and are free to the public. Unless otherwise noted, all performers are from the west Georgia area. The music therapy program is funded through gifts to Tanner Medical Foundation. Proceeds are used to continue Harmony for Healing performances with the goal of hiring a full-time music therapist.
