The Child and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program specializes in treating children ages 5 through 17 with behavioral problems, emotional issues, and/or substance abuse problems that require more intensive treatment than outpatient counseling.
Our counselors and staff educate family members on patient’s treatment goals and needs. Tanner Behavioral Health has a family therapist dedicated to working with the child or adolescent’s family weekly. This program is available at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica, and typically lasts from two-to-four weeks depending on the progress of the patient.
