Adult Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization Program
This partial hospitalization program treats adult patients (18 and older) who require intensive treatment while continuing to live at home. It is for adults who need more support and structure than traditional outpatient treatment can provide, but does not require 24-hour medical supervision.
This program specializes in treating substance abuse and chemical dependency, along with patients who may have a dual-diagnosis of substance abuse and mental illness. Treatment may last from two-to-eight weeks depending on the progress of the patient.
Mental, emotional and substance abuse problems affect the whole family, so it is important that family members become actively involved in the healing process. Tanner Behavioral Health counselors and staff educate family members on the patient’s treatment goals and needs. Just as important, they assist family members in understanding their own feelings.
If you think you or a loved one may benefit from any of the above programs, please call our help line at 770.836.9551.
