Adolescent Substance Abuse Partial Hospitalization Program

This partial hospitalization program is part of the Willowbrooke at Tanner Child and Adolescent program, but is an intensive program specifically designed for young people with substance abuse problems.

Adolescents age 13 to 17, males and females, are evaluated on admission to the program through a clinical interview and an addiction questionnaire. The program usually lasts from four to eight weeks, and dinner and transportation are provided. The length and intensity of the program are tailored to each adolescent’s clinical needs. This program is available at Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center/Villa Rica.

The family plays a critical role in an adolescent’s recovery. Tanner Behavioral Health asks that the family participate in weekly family therapy and family education groups, and to help their adolescent through a 12-step program for the duration of their treatment at Tanner Behavioral Health and as a part of their after-care plan.

If you think you or a loved one may benefit from any of the above programs, please call our help line at 770.836.9551.
