Stress and Family
Did You Know?
Stress appears to make a teen's acne worse, say researchers at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Adolescents were surveyed just before exams (high stress) and during summer break (low stress). Researchers suspected that stress increased the amount of oily sebum produced by skin glands, but that wasn't the case. Instead, stress appeared to increase skin inflammation.
