Tanner Home Health Services meet patients’ comprehensive healthcare needs in the comfort and security of their own homes. Home Health reduces the expense and worry of lengthy hospital stays and the inconvenience of frequent trips to the doctor's office. Home Health skilled professionals include registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, home health aides, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and medical social workers who provide a wide range of high-quality care and are on call 24 hours a day. Patients may be eligible for home health care if they are currently enrolled in the Medicare or Medicaid programs and meet certain guidelines. These guidelines usually include: requiring considerable assistance and effort to leave home; needing skilled care by a nurse, physical therapist, or speech therapist; or being under the care of a physician. Tanner will research private insurance or HMO (Health Maintenance Organization) eligibility at no charge.
