Harmony for Healing Music Therapy Performance

Robby Vizurraga, a music student at the University of West Georgia, performs Sunken Cathedral by Claude Debussy as well as several improvisations as part of Tanner Health System’s Harmony for Healing music therapy program. Vizurraga, a native of Villa Rica, Georgia and a sophomore, is enrolled as a double bachelor of music major at the University of West Georgia and plans to graduate with degrees in both composition and music performance. All Harmony for Healing performances are held in the atrium on the first floor of Tanner Medical Center/Carrollton, facing Dixie Street, and are free to the public. The music therapy program is funded through gifts to Tanner Medical Foundation. Proceeds are used to continue Harmony for Healing performances with the goal of hiring a full-time music therapist.
