Tanner Medical Center is committed to providing high quality health care through exceeding expectations and creating an exceptional experience for the patient and their family that results in industry leading levels of patient satisfaction. To monitor achievement of this goal, Tanner measures patient satisfaction by contracting with an independent market research company to survey a random number of our patients.

We take this process seriously and use the information to make improvements at our hospitals ensuring that our patients get the best possible care. To the left are the results of the surveys.

The average overall satisfaction of our patients is based on their experience in the ER, inpatient, outpatient and short stay unit.

Environment:

It is very important to Tanner Health System that patients and their families feel safe and comfortable while they are in our care.

Patients rated how safe they felt at our facilities, if their room was quiet and restful and if their sleeping hours were disturbed only when necessary.

Patients rated the cleanliness of the rooms and emergency area including entrances and hallways.  They also rated the staff who cleaned their room with regard to politeness and professionalism and on our hospitals’ medical equipment and facilities.
